David Williams, who was from the town, was attacked outside The Three Elms pub on Thursday 28 June following England's World Cup game against Belguim.
A further altercation took place later outside the Crown and Anchor Pub on the town's quayside.
The 49-year old later died in hospital on Tuesday July 3rd.
Four people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
