EX16-6xx residents will share £18.3 million
Hundreds of people in Tiverton will have a Christmas to remember after landing People’s Postcode Lottery’s biggest-ever single prize.
Players in the postcode area EX16 6 will share the bumper pot of more than £18 million.
Winning households will find out exactly how much they have scooped during a special Millions prize event at Blundell’s School this Saturday. They can expect to take home cheques for at least £3,000.
The full winning postcode will also be revealed at the event. Anyone playing with this postcode will scoop the largest cash prizes.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassadors Matt Johnson, Judie McCourt and Danyl Johnson will be at the event in Tiverton to reveal cheques and celebrate with winners.
Mr Johnson said: “It’s set to be a fantastic day for hundreds of neighbours, and the excitement is really building. Saturday can’t come soon enough!”
Postcode Lottery players have helped raise more than £1.5 billion for thousands of charities simply by playing.
One of those charities, Young Lives vs Cancer, has received over £22 million in funding. It provides emotional, practical, financial and clinical support to young cancer patients and their families.
This year, Action East Devon received £50,000 thanks to players. It works with children and young people, as well as their families, running support services for mental health and wellbeing.
