Over 1000 homes in the area were affected
Power has now been restored to hundreds of homes in and around Honiton, following an outage this morning [1 September].
Western Power Distribution says 1363 properties in the town, and surrounding EX14 area were affected by the disruption, between around 7am and 9am.
They say it was caused by 'a fault on an underground high voltage cable' and have apologised for any problems caused by the power cut.
Power is now back on in #Honiton #EX14 and surrounding areas. We are sorry for any problems caused by the #powercut this morning, Rod
