Money will fund vital home visits
Hospicecare has celebrated its most successful Christmas tree collection ever.
Over three busy days, 114 dedicated volunteers collected and recycled more than 2,200 trees from homes across Exeter, central, and East Devon to raise an incredible £46,000 to support end-of-life care.
This remarkable effort will fund 476 home visits from Clinical Nurse Specialists, providing expert care and comfort to patients and their families.
The impact of these visits is immeasurable, as one family member explained: "At a time when you feel you are quickly losing someone you love... their reassurance brings a sense of calm."
The local charity has thanked everyone involved in making the collection possible and hoping for an even better result this year.
