Woman and girl in life-threatening condition
A pensioner and a child are in separate hospitals with life-threatening injuries following a crash on Sunday afternoon.
Two vehicles collided on St Marychurch Road, between Newton Abbot and Torquay, at around 2.10 p.m.
As a result, a 70 year old female was airlifted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth and a 13-year-old girl was airlifted to Bristol Children’s Hospital. Both a very seriously injured.
Police would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed. They're asking for witnesses, including people who may have dash cam footage of the collision and the build up to it to contact them on 101, quoting log number 580 of 16 August.
