Group including two teens arrested
Five adults and two teenagers have been arrested for illegally entering the UK after being found in the back of a lorry in Devon on Saturday morning.
Devon an Cornwall Police say they received a report about the group in the vehicle at Millbay Docks, Plymouth at 7.15 am. They were in a Mesguen lorry trailer which is believed to have arrived at the Plymouth port on the Britanny Ferries sailing from Roscoff on Friday. The migrants have been assessed by South West Ambulance Service staff and their immediate welfare needs are being addressed.
Police are now working with Border Force and the port authorities on the matter.
