Refresh for changing areas
Sidmouth's swimming pool is getting a makeover.
East Devon District Council's come yup with some cash to improve the changing areas.
The company that runs the centre, Leisure East Devon, admits that, right now, swimmers feel their experience is let down by the changing areas.
Work, which despite only being "a cosmetic refresh" of existing changing, shower and locker facilities. will last 10 weeks. It starts on Monday [14 February] and will mainly be done out of swimming hours.
Councillor Nick Hookway, East Devon District Portfolio Holder for Culture, Sport, Leisure and Tourism said: "EDDC is pleased to support LED and the users of Sidmouth swimming pool by releasing funds to allow for the makeover of the changing rooms.
"Let's hope that this makeover brightens the whole experience of visiting Sidmouth swimming pool."
