Pupils from Tiverton High School who challenged their teachers to hold tarantulas and snakes to raise money for charity are receiving an award today.
Members of the school's Interact Club have earned the Young Citizen Group award from Rotary International.
They organised a teachers' talent contest - and an 'I'm a Celebrity'-style challenge where the teachers had to touch insects and reptiles from Exmoor Zoo.
The money went to charities including Shelterbox and a local group helping the homeless.
