Exeter residents look set to benefit from a funding handout won by university students, to carry out sustainable environmental projects in the wider community.
Three hundred thousand pounds has been awarded by the National Union of Students' Green fund.
It will be used to fund several projects, devised by the students and carried out in conjunction with local communities - and could involve improving wildlife habitats or growing food in a sustainable way.
