The 32-year old died in hospital seven days after being arrested and taken to Heavitree Road police station.
A hearing looking into the actions of staff was heard in private last month but the details will be revealed on Friday afternoon.
Earlier this year, Devon and Cornwall Police was fined more than 234-thousand pounds for health and safety breaches following the incident in October 2012.
