Teenagers in Tiverton wanting to study A-levels will have to travel to Exeter or Taunton - after the town's Petroc college announced it won't be offering the courses from this September.
The college says demand has been falling year on year.
It's promising to minimise any disruption caused to students already doing their A-levels there.
The head of Tiverton High School has described the move as disappointing - but blames the funding situation which means Petroc's can't afford to teach small A-level classes.
