Power jigsaws part of puzzle
Police are appealing for information following a series of break-ins in the Knowstone area of Exmoor, which is located a few miles from the North Devon link road between Tiverton and Barnstaple.
Between 8 p.m. on Sunday 1 November and 8 a.m. on Monday, several non-residential, rural properties were broken into.
A large quantity of power tools including Stihl chainsaws, strimmers, a power washer, concrete breakers and power jigsaws, amounting to around a thousand pounds, were stolen.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously, or any suspicious vehicles in the area, in the days before the break-ins. Officers would also like to hear from anyone who may be aware of the sale of any of the tools.
