National League South side sacks Paul Wotton
Torquay United are hunting for a new manager after sacking Paul Wotton over the weekend.
The National League South club were thrashed 5-0 against Chelmsford at Plainmoor on Saturday.
The Gulls were top of the league, just week's ago, but a five-game winless run means they are 10 points off the new leaders.
Neil Warnock has taken interim charge of the club, whilst the Gulls look for a new full time head coach.
Here is a statement from Torquay United: "We are very grateful to Paul for his hard work, professionalism, and commitment during his time at the club. We thank Paul for his contribution, both on and off the pitch.
"Torquay United wish Paul every success in his future endeavours. Neil Warnock will take the team for Tuesday night’s fixture with Farnborough and an update on interim arrangements will be communicated in due course."
