As a new report confirms the vital importance of tourism to Devon's economy, Teignbridge council says it'll be working with businesses in its patch to help them bring in visitors.
The study calculated that the south west earned more than nine billion pounds from tourism last year and that in some areas, a third of jobs are dependent on holidaymakers.
The leader of Teignbridge council Jeremy Christophers attended the recent Tourism Forum where businesses across the district discussed new ways of promoting themselves.
