A leading trader in Exeter's Fore Street is calling on all the West Quarter's independent shops and restaurants to support the plan for a Business Improvement District in the city centre.
That involves businesses paying into a kitty - with the money used for improvements they choose themselves, to boost trade.
A previous campaign three years ago failed when businesses narrowly voted against the BID.... but was relaunched earlier this year.
Jo Greenwood owns Real McCoy and is a supporter of the BID - she says for most Fore Street traders the benefits would outweigh the costs.
