Black Mercedes linked to crime spree
Two people have been arrested after several vehicle thefts in Plymouth.
A black Mercedes B-class was taken from the Devonport area between 1:15 and 3:20 AM on Wednesday 10 December and Thursday 11 December 2025.
The vehicle was then driven to Plympton, where it's believed two suspects carried out further thefts of belongings from vehicles parked in Redvers Grove, Sydney Close, Lavinia Drive and Merafield Road.
The stolen Merc was located several days later following a collision on St Levan Road in Plymouth.
Police are urging residents and nearby businesses to check CCTV and doorbell footage for any signs of suspicious activity to help with their investigation.
A man in his 20s and a woman in her 40s, from Torpoint, were detained on suspicion of several vehicle crimes and have both been bailed.
