Police have arrested the driver of the lorry involved in yesterday's accident in Exeter in which a pedestrian was killed. And they're also continuing to investigate the other fatal accident, on the M5 near Cullompton.
An 80 year old man from Broadclyst suffered fatal injuries in the accident yesterday afternoon in Exhibition Way in Pinhoe.
The lorry didn't stop at the scene but was located shortly afterwards in Cullompton, and the 53 year old driver from Somerset has been questioned on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident.
They also want to hear from anyone who saw the crash on the M5 northbound - involving a silver Vauxhall and a lorry.
A 57 year old woman was killed - and that lorry driver has been questioned on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
