A woman's been seriously injured after a collision on the M5 near Cullompton - and a pedestrian is badly hurt after being hit by a lorry in Exeter.
The motorway crash involving a car and a lorry on the Northbound carriageway happened at about 10 past 12.
The female car driver has been flown to hospital by the air ambulance.
The road was closed, leading to severe delays and heavy traffic on the roads leading to the M5 from other parts of Exeter - including Exhibition Way in Pinhoe where the second accident happened.
One lane of the motorway reopened soon after 3.00 - the other two are expected to remain closed until 9pm tonight.
