WATCH: Nine children to be welcomed to farm
A family with nine children fleeing Ukraine is to make Devon home shortly.
And the children of the host family are excitedly awaiting their arrival.
Bridget Down, a Methodist preacher, her husband Kevin and their three children are making preparations at their farm near Winkleigh.
She says: "We're just trying to laugh and cry together, and be there as much as they need me. Here is a place where they can rest, restore and get back some of that energy because they're just so tired."
Some paperwork still has to be completed; something which isn't necessarily easy.
Totnes MP Anthony Mangell has thanked people in the UK for pointing out errors in the process, which he says will improve it.
