It had slipped its mooring
A yacht drifting two miles off Exmouth on Tuesday morning has been recovered by the town's RNLI.
The coastguard called the lifeboat team at 7.45 a.m. after reports of an unoccupied boat that was out of control and a potential danger to people using the water.
The vessel had apparently slipped its mooring.
Exmouth's inshore lifeboat, commanded by Helm, Guy Munnings, with crew Geoff Mills and Ed Thomas, sped to the last known location of the yacht and then towed it back to a mooring.
