Tesco has launched an investigation after an Exeter woman reported finding mouse droppings and hair inside an Easter egg she'd bought for her eight-year-old son.
She'd purchased it from the branch in Heavitree Fore Street on Monday.
When they opened the packaging they found that part of the egg had already been eaten away - and then they found further evidence of rodents inside.
The supermarket has taken back the egg and its packaging for examination.
