Caravan owners are being given fire safety advice after several serious blazes in Devon this month.
The fire service says it's attended various incidents where caravans or mobile homes have been badly damaged, including one at Kennford near Exeter.
They're calling on owners to make sure gas appliances and solid fuel burners are professionally installed and maintained.. and also to take care with gas cylinders which can explode if exposed to flames - those which are empty or not in use should be stored at least 6 metres away.
Electrical sockets should not be overloaded... and the vehicles should always have smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
