One victim unaccounted for
A serious assault in Totnes last month in which a weapon is said to have been involved is still being investigated.
Two people were attacked on the High Street in the South Hams town took place between 11:50 p.m. on Friday 21 January and 1 a.m. on Saturday 22 January.
It is alleged the suspect retrieved a weapon from a near-by vehicle and used this in the attack on the two victims.
One man in his twenties sustained serious facial and head injuries.
Police believe a second person was assaulted during the same incident but that victim has yet to contact the police.
Both victims had just left the Barrel House Pub in Totnes prior to the attack.
Police are appealing for witnesses and urge the second victim to come forward as they could hold evidence vital to the investigation.
