Pedestrian suffers serious head injury
A woman has sustained potentially serious head injuries after being hit by a car in Plymouth.
Emergency services were called to Coburg Street, near Drake Circus at 09.10 this morning.
She has been taken to hospital.
The road was closed around the area with heavy traffic and long delays reported around the city centre this morning.
Investigations are ongoing.
