A campaign's being launched today to raise awareness of domestic violence in Devon. It's in response to four deaths in the county as a result of domestic abuse in the last three years.
Reviews of the circumstances of the four deaths have led the Safer Devon Partnership to launch today's initiative.
It particularly aims to make people in the workplace aware of the signs that a colleague's partner may be subjecting them to violence or controlling behaviour.
Those signs could include absenteeism, decreased performance and an unusual number of phone calls or visits from their partner.
Posters will be appearing in workplaces around Devon - along with discreet advice cards for people suffering domestic violence themselves.
