Tail end of Storm Gareth continues to bring disruption
Storm Gareth has moved North, leaving a mostly dry day for Devon.
But strong winds are expected to continue into this afternoon.
A yellow warning for wind remains in place until 1500. It warns:
- Probably some bus and train services affected, with some journeys taking longer
- Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely
- Some short term loss of power and other services is possible
- It's likely that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities are affected by spray and/or large waves
#StormGareth is now moving out into the North Sea, but we are continuing to see heavy showers and very strong winds. Here's the latest #weatheraware pic.twitter.com/wf5BfeBtdu
