Officers called to the A361 in North Devon last night
Police say a 57 year old man's died after being hit by a tipper lorry.
It was travelling from Braunton towards Barnstaple on the A361.
The man - who was in the area of the Pottington layby - sustained fatal injuries. His next of kin have been told.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened at around 5.40pm last night (Monday 5th November)
Witnesses are asked to contact the police on 101 quoting log reference number 658 05.11.18.
