Bankers' fines help air ambulance to fly after dark

Devon Air Ambulance has had a one million pound windfall, thanks to badly behaved bankers.

They've been fined by the government for fixing interest rates - with the money going to emergency services charities.

The air ambulance applied - and yesterday found out they've been given the grant to help them install 300 night-time landing sites.

Local communities have to keep the locations in good order, but this money will now pay for flood-lighting and enable the two helicopters to operate in the hours of darkness.
