City striker Brown says League One not as physical as Two

And relegation doomsters are wrong

After just a few matches in League One for the first time in 10 years, Exeter City striker Jevani Brown has been reflecting on the critics who predicted the team would be in a relegation battle this season.

He claims they have settled in very well into the new division and are far from struggling.

But Exeter have had an inconsistent start: winning two, drawing two and losing two.

Their first game back was a 1-1 draw with Lincoln city followed by a 4-0 win against newly promoted Port Vale who had progressed through the promotion playoffs.

Brown is enjoying life in League One and hopes if he continues to play like how he is, then he could get an International call up to Jamaica again.

The striker says that with the confidence of Matt Taylor to play him gives him an extra boost to do well in games.

Surprisingly he says he finds League Two more physical and more challenging, even though he expected to be playing against more competitive clubs.

City host MK Dons this Saturday, and Brown's main thing is to train hard to be in the starting 11 for the game.

He says he is always focused on the next game and in ways to improve from previous games.

With the squad performing well Brown says:” the boys have started very well” and that they are very focused and are very capable of doing anything.
