Action has been taken to protect residents of some sheltered housing in Tiverton... after reports of a man threatening people with a knife.
One man has been banned from coming near the properties in Catherine Close.
Meanwhile a tenant there, and another man connected with him, have had injunctions imposed, forbidding them from assaulting, molesting or causing a nuisance to anyone living in the Close and nearby Watery Lane.
The knife threats incident happened last month and a man was arrested.
