One dead, four injured in A38 crash

Road closed for nine hours

One person has been killed and four others injured in a crash on the A38 in East Cornwall.

Emergency services, including Cornwall Air Ambulance were called to the road in the Glynn Valley between Bodmin Parkway train station and the Halfway House on Sunday lunchtime.

One person is in a critical condition in Derriford Hospital, whilst three others were taken to Treliske in Truro for treatment,

The next of kin of all parties are aware.

The road was closed for nine hours for investigations to take place.

Anyone with any information or dash-cam footage which could help the investigation is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference log 293 of 28 April.
