Women who died 185 years ago will have her funeral later this year.

Friends of a Devon women who died 185 years ago are being invited to her reburial.

Elizabeth Cookworthy passed away at the age of 90 in 1833 and was buried in a Quaker grave that later became Plymouth bus station. Her lead-line coffin was found when the site was cleared for redevelopment. 

She's been re-interred next week. The funeral director's advertised for friends, as Quakers are often referred to, to pay their respects at the service. 

The service will take place at the Quaker Burial Ground, Efford cemetery on Wednesday, February 7 2018 at 10:30am.
