Coach from Exmouth crashes in Cornwall

Two people have died on a coach trip from Exmouth. The 57-year old driver has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.

The Carmel coach, based at Marsh Barton, is said to have rolled down a hill into a hedge near Looe in Cornwall. A major incident has been declared. Search and rescue helicopters from RNAS Culdrose and RMB Chivenor have attended. Eleven people have been taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth by air and land ambulance. Others are said to be walking wounded. The driver is not thought to be seriously injured.
