Results of trade union ballots on new pay for D&C Police due out

Under the proposals 16 per cent of Devon and Cornwall's force's employees will see their pay reduced, although the change won't come into effect for at least a year.

Most staff salaries will either stay the same, or go up.

The unions Unison, GMB and Unite have balloted their members, but with the recommendation that they accept the changes.
