Part-Time Shop Assistant

This is a great opportunity for a committed and strong retail sales professional to eventually reach a store manager position, which could also evolve into a broader management role based on talent and achievements. 

Main role functions
Operating the till, processing transactions, using point of sale and booking software
Being "front of house"-engaging and greeting customers
Handling customer enquiries
Sales of products and advising on other services
Use of your expertise to identify customer needs and suggest suitable products, alternatives and add-ons
Building relationships with returning customers
Dealing with suppliers and checking supply levels
Organising production, sorting and packaging garments on day-to-day basis
Quality control
Caring for and maintaining the store environment
Updating customer database
Managing customer account and orders
Desired Skills, Experience and Attributes
Minimum 2 years’ experience in high end retail/customer facing role (store, café, restaurant)
Able to communicate in details with authority about products and processes
Well presented and positive
Ability to learn quickly and with initiative


Starting pay is minimum wage. After training pay is performance based.
