Matt Taylor is expecting a tough game
The Grecians travel to Morecambe on Saturday after beating Carlisle 3-1 on the opening day of the season at St James Park. Morecambe on the other hand suffered a heavy 6-0 defeat. However, despite their loss, Matt Taylor says Morecambe are always a tough team to beat.
Speaking to the clubs website, Taylor said: “We know Morecambe is away a tough fixture. We went to Morecambe last season when we needed the points, badly, and we didn’t perform well after going 1-0 up in the game.
“It is a difficult place to go and they will be right at us from the word go. Their manager is a really good manager. An experienced manager at this level and he will have them fired up that is for sure.”
City play Morecambe on Saturday at 3pm.
