Tie to be played week commencing October 30
Exeter City will host Middlesborough in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup (League Cup). It is the first time in history, that the two sides will meet in a competitive match.
City is in the fourth round of the cup for the first time in over three decades following a terrific one-nil victory over Premier League Side Luton Town on Tuesday night.
It was the first time Exeter City beat a top-tier team since 1980- and the atmosphere around St James Park was tumultuous.
Exeter have started this season in great form; promotion to the Championship is well in the sights of the Grecians. However, all eyes were on the League Cup draw.
Exeter City welcomes Middlesbrough the week commencing 30 October.
