David Ablett, aged 52 from Teignmouth, has been charged with murder and is due to appear at Plymouth Magistrates Court today, Thursday 7 June.
DI Steve Davies said: “Our enquiries are continuing today, we are still looking into the potential of others who may have knowledge of the incident. Anyone who has CCTV close to the Barnpark Terrace area is asked to make contact with us.
“We would like to thank the public and the local community for their assistance so far.”
