The family of an injured man who was involved in a serious hit and run in Bradninch last year say they have received an anonymous tip-off about the incident.
Following a police investigation after the incident last June, officers were unable to trace the driver who was responsible for seriously injuring the 53-year-old local man.
Police would now like to trace the person who provided the family with the information.
The victim is still recovering from the injuries he sustained.
