Investigations continue today in the Exminster area - in connection with a Royal Marine arrested on suspicion of preparing acts of terrorism in Northern Ireland.
30 year old Ciaran Maxwell has a flat in Old Quarry Drive where his partner and their child live, although neighbours said he was rarely there.
He was arrested in Somerset yesterday - and officers began a search of the flat and an area of woodland nearby.
Police say there's no reason to believe the local community are at risk but will have extra patrols in the area to reassure the public.
