The dog retaliated
Two men are being sought by police after allegedly trying to steal a dog in Plymouth.
A woman was walking her black Staffy cross dog in Victoria Park when the two men approached. One of the men grabbed her and the other tried to take the dog.
It happened between 8pm and 9pm on Monday 6 December on a tree-lined path leading from the Stuart Road entrance to the park.
The dog retaliated and the woman managed to escape the two men with her pet. She was left shaken, but not injured.
Both men are decribed as black, of average build and around 5ft 8-9ins tall. One of the men was aged in his mid to late 30s - wearing a black or grey hooded top and black trousers.
