Repairs will take at least three weeks
Bickleigh Bridge, in Mid Devon, is closed to traffic after it was struck by a lorry earlier today (Tuesday May 18).
The bridge suffered significant damage, says Devon County Council, who confirmed that the road will need to be closed for at least three weeks while it is repaired. Weather permitted.
During the works, pedestrian and cyclist access will be maintained throughout.
