Pair get stuck off coast
A pair of paddle boarders have been rescued off the coast of East Devon after getting into trouble.
Exmouth lifeguards were called out on Thursday [3 July] afternoon to help a lone paddleboarder near Budleigh Salterton.
They found a second paddleboarder who had also been swept out to sea while trying to help.
The RNLI crew brought both back to shore safely and no one was hurt.
We’re being urged to be aware of wind conditions, especially if you're swimming or paddleboarding.
It's a good reminder of how quickly things can change on the water.
