Ten fire crews tackled a blaze in a block of flats
Police have charged a man after a serious fire in Seaton at the weekend.
10 fire crews battled the blaze at a block of flats on Harbour Road on Sunday morning. 1 person was taken to hospital and others were treated by paramedics for smoke inhalation.
Since the fire on Sunday, officers say the area has been subject to "intense investigation" by specialist fire investigators and police detectives, including forensic work, witness interviews, and CCTV enquiries.
Investigators have now charged Connor Hallett, aged 21 from Harbour Road with arson with intent to endanger life.
He'll appear before Magistrates today (Wednesday 5th December).
