A biker is seriously injured in hospital following a crash in Torquay.
Police were called at around 11.35 pm on Thursday 15 February to Queensway in Torquay, where a collision had occurred.
The collision was reported to involve a fully electric-powered motorcycle and a parked vehicle.
The male bike rider, aged in his 20s, was located at the scene with serious injuries and was taken to Torquay District Hospital. His next of kin has been made aware of the incident.
Southwest Ambulance crews, Devon and Cornwall Response and Road Policing Units attended the scene and an investigation was commenced.
The road remained closed for approximately two hours until enquiries at the scene had been completed.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank those members of the public who assisted at the scene and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
