Watch: He was looking to impress his female passenger
A BMW driver was caught speeding past a police car at 105mph on the M5 in Devon yesterday evening (Wednesday 10th November).
He told the police that he was trying to "impress his female passenger". Instead, the driver ended up with a court date.
Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team, who shared the video above onto Twitter, wrote: "This BMW was seen approaching at speed before whizzing past us on M5 Exeter.
"Top speed of 105 MPH and driver stopped. He already holds 9 points and stated he was looking to impress his female passenger, instead he ended up with a court date."
