Police locate body of a male in an East Devon field
Police looking for 15-year-old Tipton St John schoolboy Daniel Chambers have found a body in a field in the East Devon village.
Daniel was last seen by his parents at 7.30am on Wednesday, but he didn't get his usual bus to school. He was known to enjoy visiting Sidmouth and Beer, and walking along the paths along the Otter valley.
On Friday, police said they were looking in and around the River Otter. Daniel's sister made an appeal on Facebook for help in tracking down the 6'1" teenager.
Sadly, on Saturday morning at around 11.35am police came across a body. As at 4pm on Saturday, formal identification has yet to take place, but Daniel's family have been informed of the development. At this stage the death isn't being treated as suspicious, but investigations are continuing to establish the circumstances.
