Man held for careless driving
A child has been killed in a collision with a car in Plymstock.
Emergency Services were called at around 11.10 a.m. on Sunday to Wembury Road, near Plymstock Albion Oaks Rugby Club.
The seven-year-old boy sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance where he sadly died. His next of kin have been informed.
A 55-year-old man from Plymouth has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and has dash cam footage or any information which may assist enquiries is asked to contact police.
