Collision at Knowle Hill on Thursday
An elderly cyclist has life-threatening injuries after a collision with a vehicle at Knowle Hill, Budleigh Salterton, just before 1pm on Thursday.
A silver Audi TT driven by a 65-year-old woman and the 78-year-old man riding his bike has left the cyclist with serious, life-changing injuries.
He was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital by ambulance. The car driver, from the Exeter area, is not injured
Local officers, as well as those from the roads policing team and serious collision investigation team, attended and a forensic examination was conducted before the road reopened.
