Be vigilant in run up to Christmas
Police are appealing for information after five daytime burglaries at homes in Lympstone, near Exmouth and in Exeter.
In Lympstone, properties in Greenhill Avenue, Church Road, Longmeadow Road and Underhill were broken into and items of jewellery taken between Wednesday 27 October and Monday 22 November.
Police are asking people to ensure their properties are secure and that valuable items are not on display. They'd like any suspicious activity to be reported to them.
Separately, someone forced entry into a property in Wonford Road around 2.45 p.m. on Tuesday 30 November and stole items but fled the scene after being disturbed.
Someone also broke into a property in Larkbeare Road, Exeter and stole items between 11am and 2pm on the same day.
We would ask members of the public to ensure that their properties are secure and that valuable items are not on display.
Call police on 101 if you have information that could help, or you can talk anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or contact the charity’s website at www.crimestoppers-uk.org
